AkaNinger is a red ninja and the main ninja warriors in Shuriken Sentai Ninninger series. An AkaNinger form used by several identities in the Shuriken Sentai Ninninger series. AkaNinger may refer to any the following characters:
Yoshitaka Igasaki
- Main Article : Yoshitaka Igasaki / Origin AkaNinger : Last Ninja
- known as the Last Ninja, is the Ninningers' grandfather who sealed Gengetsu Kibaoni away when he revived as an oni. He was originally believed to have died prior to the series but he went into hiding while building the Otomonin in secret. Yoshitaka only revealed himself after giving the Ninningers their Otomonin Shuriken, believing they need his guidance to be true ninja.

- Is Takaharu and Fuka's father and Yoshitaka's oldest son. He trained since childhood in order to succeed his father until one day his ability to use ninjutsu was stolen by Kyuemon, and thus uses all his knowledge to train the Ninningers instead.

- Is most adamant of being a ninja and wishes to become the kind of ninja his grandfather is. He becomes the red-colored Aka Ninger. With the Chozetsu Shobu Changer, Aka Ninger can become Aka Ninger Chozetsu. After the final battle against Gengetsu Kibaoni, Takaharu opens his own school of ninjutsu and is last seen teaching his students.

- A special form assumed by AkaNinger using the Koromogae Shuriken alongside StarNinger. In this Clothes Change form, AkaNinger dons a ninja outfit which as he notes makes him look similar to his grandfather. Upon transformation, AkaNinger is granted use of a second Ninja Ichibantou as well as a special AkaNinger Clothes Change Nin Shuriken which allows him to perform the Big Splendid Ninja Violent Slash finisher attack. AkaNinger displays incredible power in this form, which is demonstrated while fighting alongside StarNinger as the two accomplish the feat of destroying a Giant Yokai Gashadokuro without having to summon the OtomoNin.

- Dark AkaNinger is an evil incarnation of AkaNinger created when Takaharu's Nintality was corrupted by Dark Doctor Mavro, fusing him with the evil clones of Hattori Hanzō, Fūma Kotarō and Sarutobi Sasuke to create the ultimate Dark Ninja. However, Takaharu was quickly separated from this new persona as it split off to become its own entity.
Legend Ninjas
AkaNinger has demonstated the ability to transform into the legendary ninja heroes via their respective Nin Shuriken, in a similar manner to the Gokai Changes. On a single occasion this was performed through the Ninja Ichibantou Legend Ninja Violent Slash finisher, he shifted through the three legendary ninjas, assuming their forms momentarily as he struck his opponent each time with the Ninja Ichibantou transforming with him into the legendary ninja's respective sword weapon.
